| dragonrider | Posted 7/6/2007 3:08:12 PM | show profile Does anyone know the standard profit sharing/bonus percentage to share with an employee who brings in new business? I've got a small agency and will be hiring a seasoned marketer but would like to incent her to bring in new business by paying her a % of annual billings. But I don't know what the standard percentage is. |
| marianna | Posted 7/6/2007 5:21:29 PM | show profile hi Dragonrider, I don't know if this is standard, but when I worked for a PR agency in LA, we would get 10% of the first month's fees of a new client, with the average monthly fee being around $7000. In other words, $700 bucks. M |

The time can range greatly, as I've seen some that give the bonus based on a whole year's billings. ------ Cyrus Afzali Astoria Communications www.astoriacomm.com |
