The HR person told me that the summer spots had been finalized a few days previous to my letter, but that I should apply for the fall because I was an ideal candidate. I e-mailed the same person a couple of weeks ago for information on fall deadlines/application materials, and I haven't heard back. I even sent another e-mail a few days ago to make sure she'd received the first one. What should I do? I don't want to pester her through e-mail if she's busy, but she did encourage me to apply, and I'd love to work at the magazine. Any advice? |

Asking if there's someone else will (1) keep you informed in case this sort of thing has been delegated (2) give you an excuse for writing back and (3) most likely elicit a reponse that, no, she's the right person in which case she'll have to address the original issue.
