Topic: Have You Ever Had to Say No to Being a Bridesmaid?

| Women's Magazine Writer | Posted – 7/17/2007 4:08:20 PM | show profile | email poster I'm writing an article for a women's magazine and am looking for a short anecdote from someone who was asked to be a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding, but had to decline or back out for financial reasons--the cost of the dress, travel, shower, gifts, etc. was too high. This story must have a happy ending. The point would be that you felt bad, of course, but you spoke up and talked to your friend and worked things out. Your friend appreciated your honesty ,and today, you're still good friends. If you have a story like this to share, let me know. Thanks! |
