Topic: Who pays for dinner?

I'm doing a freelance story on a couple who owns an art studio in my city. I'm meeting them for dinner tomorrow night and I will interview them at that time. (I've been to the studio.) My question is, do I pay for dinner because I'm being paid for a story about them, or do they pay because they're getting free publicity? Or do we pay our own way? I've been freelancing off an on for a few years but I've never interviewed someone over a meal before. What should I do?
