| ItsAMysteryNY | Posted 7/23/2007 9:04:50 AM | show profile | email poster I'm putting together a book proposal comprised of some advice coupled with awwwww so cute! pictures and a few bonuses- and want to know: Do I wait until I have more pictures (I'm getting them from third party sources right now)? Do I write more of the project first? Do I just tell them my vision for it? It's kind of a "chicken or the egg" thing, I guess. It's a fun irreverent pet book and I feel there's ALWAYS room for these- but want to find the best publisher and don't want the market to cool. |
| aj | Posted 7/23/2007 11:04:19 AM | show profile Write and show as much as you can. Publishers want to know exactly how the book will look (and sell). They don't want to hear about ideas as everyone has an idea. The more you do the better you are. |
