Topic: A Few Good Reps

You know the ones...they hound you with good story ideas, they give you studies that are just about to be published, they call to wish you happy birthday, they e-mail you five times a day to ask what you're working on. And over time, you develop relationships with these people. Heck, I've even referred PR business to one of them. Some have even motivated me enough to finish stories that seem to get lost in the shuffle, or that I simple don't want to write. But, is it unethical to use two or more story ideas from one PR rep for the same publication (even if the stories are from different clients)? Lately, it's starting to feel like all my pitches have "her" sources in them. A quandary. |
