There I was...looking through the latest Neiman Marcus catalog when I came upon the it shirt. I had to have it. Working on a writer's salary, I scrimped together a day's worth of income to buy the shirt. A FedEx notice was posted on my condo door two days later. It asked me to sign it and I would magically have the package the next day. I did, trusting my friendly neighbors not to lift the package from outside my door. I came home the next day from a long day at the office. Slip gone. Package gone. Hmmm. I called FedEx. "Package was delivered. We will ask the delivery woman to call you." Delivery woman: "Umm...I left it at your door." Angela calls FedEx back and complains. Rep tells me Neiman Marcus always asks for a signature in person and that a slip shouldn't have been left on my door. Rep also tells me the delivery woman is under investigation. The next day, the package was left outside of my door. Opened. No tag. No receipt. And smelling like bar. The end. |

| keltoi2 | Posted 7/25/2007 12:34:08 PM | show profile Not the end. I hope you contacted FedEx and reported the package's arrival and condition for a refund of your shirt and for FedEx PArty Girl to get tossed on her thieving butt. |
| sue ellen mischke | Posted 7/25/2007 12:43:57 PM | show profile I haven't called FedEx back yet because the package arrived today at 7 a.m. I will when I get home. In the meantime, Neiman Marcus is sending another one. Weird things like this always happen to me... |
| Mag Girl | Posted 7/25/2007 1:14:21 PM | show profile I hate UPS. I had a HUGE wedding presented shipped to me- a big box of Pyrex stuff - and the giver asked me if I received it. I said no. After several calls, I got UPS to say it had been delvered. When I asked to see the slip, it said it had been left at an address 5 doors down from me. Um...why? No signature, no note, nothing. I called about getting it replaced, and they actually told me to go retrieve it from my neighbor- after it had been more than six weeks. Seriously!! |
| Mag Girl | Posted 7/25/2007 1:15:03 PM | show profile And I would totally keep complaining to FedEx about that- that's just reprehensible. |
