I subscribe to the newsletter from the NY About.com guide, and this chocolate-lovers guide to NY came in. Thought fans of the Big Apple and chocolate both might want to check it out.

wow! How did I miss this???
I wish this had been around about six months ago when I was doing R and D for a food company looking for a good local chocolate for a granola company.

This will be great just for my own greedy, chocolate loving soul.

thanks!

Then you must go to Max Brenner in Union Square or the East Village in NYC. The most decadent and delicious display of chocolate...everything (how does a piping hot bagel stuffed with a large chocolate bar and peanut butter dipping sauce sound???) I've ever seen/tasted. I wanted to stay there for all three meals.

In both of your honors, I have just eating a very decadent lunch: Cinnabon bread topped with a Dove chocolate raspberry truffle. Now, THAT"s at the top of MY food pyramid.

I am all over it! That would get my ass on the train to NYC faster than the promise of a decent gig would.

I made s'mores last night with dark chocolate and cinnamon and sugar graham crackers. Insanely decadent.

I am thinking for holiday gifts this year, I want to just get really good, unique quality boxes of chocolates, and Max's sounds perfect.

This sight is a wealth of knowledge for a recent East Coast transplant.

Truly. I'm not from NY -- I live in the South, but this site is one of the many reasons I would go back to NY anytime I could. THe resources. Chocolate, no less. Yum.
