Topic: Seeking Interesting L.A. Subjects for Podcasts

I'm not quite sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm interested in creating news podcasts. Does anyone have a group, organization, or event in the L.A. area that might be of interest? The podcast would only be three or five minutes, and will be placed online on YouTube or Current TV, and on my resume tape. Thanks.
