Will definitely talk about this in the interview, but am curious in advance. Also - any salary-type thoughts? Do they offer a good deal? |
| ManhattanMatt | Posted 8/9/2007 2:09:27 PM | show profile It's WAY too early to tell ... ...but Dow Jones salaries for journalists have always been notoriously low. I doubt things will be different under Murdoch. FOX salaries are the worst in the broadcast industry. |
| candylilacs | Posted 8/10/2007 2:20:55 PM | show profile The salaries are not that low, but I'm sure that depends where you are and your job. It still has a good reputation for business journalism, so if that's what you want to do, do it. Good luck. ------ http://www.mswritesguide.blogspot.com |

I worked there for a long time and lived all over the world. It was big enough that if my interests changed, I could move within the company to follow them. Morale wasn't perfect, but the people were great, the pay was fine and I had an interesting run. |
