Now, I wouldn't suggest yet another failed teen mag editor, but I guess after you've tried three former Cosmogirl editors--in sucession--and none have managed to restore the maagzine, anything's possible. Then again maybe it really is just a "temporary fill in position"... |
| noname1234 | Posted 8/9/2007 8:49:02 PM | show profile i'm confused -- the revolving door sections says a former teenpeople staffer is working as a temporary deputy editor at harper's bazaar. Are you speculating this might have something to do with seventeen because seventeen and bazaar are both hearst titles? |
| seeattleme | Posted 8/10/2007 12:27:56 AM | show profile Yes, that was a thought. Who brings in and annnounces a temporary deputy editor position? That's bizarre. Someone's being made to feel nervous or something's in the works--and a Teen People editor at Harper's Bazaar? When both teen books are hurting badly? Not that I care--both books will probably be folded by 2010. But this board is about the media biz, and buzz, and i think this is buzzworth (so does Hearst, otherwise they wouldn't have announced it). |
