WHY, a new ezine dedicated to the work-at-home life, is accepting submissions for its 1st annual writing contest. The pub is looking for great short (under 1,000 words) fiction or creative non-fiction with a work-at-home slant.

The top prize is $500 and publication in the May/June 2008 issue. There will also be second and third cash prizes, as well as 5 honorable mentions.

The contest deadline is December 31, 2007. $10 per entry. Please see www.workhomeyou.com/contest for details.

The first of something can't be annual. It's just the first. Starting with the second year it is annual.
