Nothing cheesy to try and "grab" your attention. I was looking at some examples online today and I found many of the pich letters to be really dumb sounding. But maybe that's what people like. |
| Righter | Posted 8/10/2007 4:58:36 PM | show profile Hi Satchel, I've found that the pitches I tend to take more time to read are the ones that weren't obviously part of a mass email. Like if the publicist takes just a couple of sentences to say, Hi, We have this event going on and we thought it'd be perfect for so and so section because of...whatever. Nothing too formal or fancy, just enough to show that it was thought out and sent to us for a specific reason. Brief and to the point is perfect, if I want more info I'll email the contact back for it. Hope that helps. Good luck! |
