| FamMan | Posted 8/12/2007 7:35:29 AM | show profile Any suggestions? I hear this type of positions is great for people who want to supplement their writing careers with actual writing jobs. I do have some experience working at a small community newspaper. Where's the best place for a beginner? |

Television news writers are journalists who worked their way up the television news ladder the same way print people worked their way up the newspaper ladder. You start at a small market station and work your way up. |

| ManhattanMatt | Posted 8/15/2007 12:59:12 PM | show profile New York and LA .... WGA scale is around 90K. Most of the experienced writers get paid overscale ... some around 200K. |
