Topic: Health editor at O Magazine?

| writergal | Posted 8/14/2007 2:38:13 PM | show profile Anyone know which associate/assistant editor handles the Health section at O magazine? I have tried repeatedly to call the offices and have left messages for editorial assistants, but no replies (no one EVER answers their phone!). The HTP feature says Chee Gates, but I know she's not there any more. I'm not a newbie, and know this sort of post annoys many people, but thought I'd give it a try. Thanks so much. |

| writergal | Posted 8/15/2007 3:24:33 PM | show profile Oh well I suppose it's yet more proof that the magazine really doesn't want ANY freelancers! It was a long shot anyway... |
| seeattleme | Posted 8/15/2007 4:11:58 PM | show profile Um, I thought it was Liz Brody. I've never heard of a Chee Gates. But don't expect a response. Unless you know someone who knows someone. That place is nepotism and networking--all about, period, end of story. O magazine won't be discovering any "new fresh talent". You're better off pitching Harpers or The New Yorker. I'm serious. Or try Women's Health, at Rodale . |
