I (and 9 other freelance writers) have been awaiting payment from a publisher since February. I was promised payment for the past 6 months, but am still waiting. One writer has won a judgement in small claims court - but I live out of state. I'm trying to locate an attorney in LA to write a letter demanding payment and potentially file suit before the company files for bankruptcy.

Any leads would be GREAT.
