Anyone own a pair of MBT shoes?

Comments? Complaints?

Just bought my second pair (first pair gave me blisters on my heel and returned them tout de suite).

Still not convinced of their splendor yet.

Nope- haven't tried them.

But if you want the most comfprtable pair of shoes ever - they feel like slippers - get these: http://privo.zappos.com/n/p/p/7296583.html

J'adore!

Have you all discovered FootSmart? I'm showing my age I guess when I say I love their site and COMFY shoes they sell. This summer I bought Clarks (just got em in -- love em) and another kind of very squooshy sandals. Where has this site been all my life?

No more Manolos for me -- I'm a comfortably shod person these days.

Yes...i am just getting into foot health. These mbt's are supposed to fix posture problems and give you toned legs and a tight tush.

THe MBTs look good. I shopped around and decided to try a pair of Earth walking athletic shoes. I was one of the ones who truly liked and felt good in Earth shoes back in the 70s ... and I am about to embark on a walking program. Plus, zappos promises free overnight shipping -- and free returns if necessary.

Thanks for the posts. I'm hoping these boots are made for walking ... I really need to do this. There's a good walking path at a local park, that should help. Lots of people walk in my neighborhood -- if I could convince my dog to heel and walk alongside nice-like, I'd bring him.

Anyway, again, thanks for the shoe post.

Here's the trick
One trick I learned with these is to do a few "warm-up" moves before you start walking. For instance, lie down with your feet flat on the floor and do some bridging, rocking the shoes slowly from toe to heel and back. This will get your glutes and hamstrings to activate... Standing and doing the same rocking is good too. If you walk while thinking about pushing back with the heels, fully extending the legs, and drawing the inner thighs together, you'll probably get the best results, no matter what shoes you're wearing.

That said, I never saw any difference with my pair (I got mine through some press connection so I didn't have to spend that crazy $$$), but some people swear by them. They might be good to do some workout stuff in, like ballet-type moves. Stand with the legs in a wide turned out position then squat down. Straighten the legs and come up to the toes...

Personally, I want a pair of those heelys.
