I have no experience freelancing and would love to hear from anyone who does! I have over 3 years experience proofreading for two different companies (business documents, marketing materials, web content, etc.) but I'd like to get out on my own and work with the publishing industry. I have a BA in English Literature and have taken a proofreading class. I'm wondering how difficult it is to find work and how much money I can realistically expect to earn. I live in Tampa, FL and I don't know if that makes a difference. Any advice and/or personal experiences would be very much appreciated!! |
