Topic: Managing Editor Salary Range?

Recently, I was interviewed for a ME position. The interview went well and now they want me to give them a salary range that I would accept. I live in a major metropolitan city and have quite a few years of experience, but I'm not sure what range I should provide. When I looked on one site the numbers were around 40-50K and on another they were 100-130K.

Any suggestions? Also, is there a difference is range between print and online?

ah...if you're wondering what an ME salary is, why are you posting in the Beginner's section? ME salaries are all over the place...imagine the difference in salary between the ME of People Magazine and National Hog Farmer.

Good point. Well, let's say the magazine is closer to Glamour or GQ than Hog Farmer.
