SparkNotes is currently publishing two new guides to writing successful (1) college admission essays and (2) grad school admissions essays. While the first half of both will serve as a "how-to" guide for writing effectively, the latter will include essays that really worked for students, especially those that were accepted into top colleges and graduate programs (any discipline). Send an email, including the name of your school/program and the essay as an attachment, to Lindsay Weiskittel at lweiskittel@bn.com. PDF and Word files only. No phone calls, please. If selected, your name (or pseudonym, if you prefer), essay, and school affiliation will appear in the published book, and you will receive a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card.
