| Nikongirl | Posted 9/26/2007 7:02:20 PM | show profile If so, please say what it is you should have been doing and what you did instead. Me. Working on a long feature. Cleaned off and/or filed 1500 sent emails. |
| Righter | Posted 9/26/2007 8:04:25 PM | show profile Oh! Oh! Me me me!!! I also had a feature to work on, and I was dead set on finishing it today, and somehow I couldn't get a single word down. Instead: I finally made a very detailed outline, which I don't normally do, but helps me feel like I did something, at least. Hopefully come friday i'll put in into sentences! |
| HisGirlFriday | Posted 9/26/2007 8:28:36 PM | show profile I'm procrastinating right now - I usally need to work from, say 8 pm to 11 pm - to make this work. I have three stories that need writing and two that need some pre-reporting online research. *sigh* Instead I'm reading MB message boards. At least you guys are procrastinating by doing something else productive! |
| foto | Posted 9/26/2007 9:34:15 PM | show profile Unfortunately, Mediabistro message boards-especially OT have increased my tendency toward procrastination. I must turn the computer off immediately...okay, maybe later. |
| seeattleme | Posted 9/26/2007 9:49:22 PM | show profile I watched "Ulee's Gold" on Encore instead of working on a story pitch. At least a productive waste of time. Yesterday it was "She's The Man". |
| keltoi | Posted 9/26/2007 9:56:30 PM | show profile Why should today be any different? I Googled my name to see what I've been up to. |
| bart23ny | Posted 9/27/2007 8:19:48 AM | show profile I'll tell you later. |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 9/27/2007 8:57:27 AM | show profile I focused on a classic last night - 'Bug' with that great American actress Ashley Judd. This monster of a film demanded Judd exhibit personal despair - depravity - suffering and pain and alcohol addiction. Wow! What a role. Harry Connick Jr. as the ex who loves to beat women. And then there's the bug guy who believes aphids live under his skin. Can we ask for more? No! |
| jjones | Posted 9/27/2007 11:26:32 AM | show profile I shopped on the Internets and spent money that we don't have!!! |
| dribbledrive1 | Posted 9/27/2007 12:25:53 PM | show profile Just the opposite. I got a big rush assignment yesterday, worked on it still 10 p.m., got up and polished it this morning, and sent it off. |
| mad fingers | Posted 9/28/2007 8:38:23 AM | show profile I'm changing my middle name from Ellen to Procrastination |
| writesonwater | Posted 9/28/2007 10:49:22 AM | show profile In the past 6 days I have produced 8 stories, several of the big, honking variety. I am bleary-eyed and still have to do another to clear my plate prior to a trip to Canada that's equal parts business and pleasure. I'm exhausted, honestly. |
| keltoi2 | Posted 9/28/2007 1:24:11 PM | show profile That's alotta stories. |
