Topic: Movie Review to Blurbs

I was just reading this story about how film studios completely butcher movie reviews to get those perfect blurbs you see in the paper. Even more fascinating, the majority of critics don't seem to care. I'm not a critic, but it would bother me if my name was in the paper in support of a movie I thought was terrible. Can someone please explain.

I've buchered a few... but usually only if the over-all review is positive, I'd grab a quote.
