I figured someone on here must have some tips for me. I freelance from home and, currently, my desk is a horrid mess. (I share it with my husband and all of his computer game stuff.)

I have old notebooks everywhere-- some with things still ongoing, others with completed projects. My notebooks are a MESS and are hard to navigate.

I'm looking for ways to keep my notebooks organized so I can find my stories easily. I'm also looking for storage ideas (I have two toddlers so keeping things away from markers and crayons is great).

I've got 5 articles due before the 16th-- business is booming, so I need to get my act together in organizing.
