| Bleak Spouse | Posted 10/11/2007 11:01:57 PM | show profile Does anyone recommend visiting there? I'm thinking of changing my plans at the last minute from Paris to Prague...because I've been to Paris many times, but never Prague. |
| Nikongirl | Posted 10/12/2007 12:06:07 AM | show profile Bleak, go with the flow. Prague is supposed to be an amazing city. |
| astrahook | Posted 10/12/2007 10:29:55 AM | show profile very cool place. given the fact you've been to paris I would redirect. |
| jjones | Posted 10/12/2007 12:25:35 PM | show profile It's freaking awesome I was there many years ago so I don't know what the effect of tourism has been But the architecture is amazing the beer is amazing. I don't even like beer, but these people know how to make beer Paris is beautiful too, however. |

| chucho | Posted 10/12/2007 3:18:48 PM | show profile Getting cold there right now, isn't it? I'm going for two weeks to Madrid (60s) and Granada (upper 80s) next week. Anyone been to either of these places with suggestions about what to do? I have a nice list, but any suggestions would be appreciated, as it will be my first time there. |
| Unemployed-gal | Posted 10/12/2007 3:49:58 PM | show profile I'd go if I were you! Trying new things is always fun. I don't know much about Prague, but I went to college with a girl who teaches English there, and she says there's a lot of stuff to do. |
| Unemployed-gal | Posted 10/12/2007 3:53:15 PM | show profile Chucho: definitely go to the Prado. I know, its a tourist trap, but my favorite painting of all time, Las Meninas, is on display there. Also worth seeing is Picasso's Guernica. Definitely go get some tapas. And its always fun to take day trips to other cities nearby--Sevilla,Segovia, etc. |
| jjones | Posted 10/12/2007 5:28:42 PM | show profile Well, I don't know what your dietary whatever is but eat paella. lots of it! it's different everywhere you try it and so delicious agree about the prado in general and guernica in particular |
