| sue ellen mischke | Posted 10/12/2007 4:53:16 PM | show profile i am a short-haired woman. that's just how it's gonna be. i like it. i look good. and i don't care what men think. even though i do like men. the end. |
| InsomniacNOT | Posted 10/12/2007 5:12:02 PM | show profile I'm currently short, short haired. I really like short hair on the women it suits. And can't deal with the men who have to have long tresses. On the plus side, men who get short hair on women have way better taste. |
| jjones | Posted 10/12/2007 5:26:12 PM | show profile Oh, man I love a man in dreadlocks |
| Righter | Posted 10/12/2007 6:37:30 PM | show profile I go in cycles. Right now my hair is about halfway down my back, and when it grows a little bit more I'll get tired of it, cut it to my chin (or shorter, who knows) and then it'll grow back, and I'll love it long, only to want it short again. I don't necessarily think one's sexier than the other. some women just have a face for a short cut and can pull of the cuteness/sexiness of it, and vice versa. |
| westsidestory | Posted 10/12/2007 9:46:05 PM | show profile I had mine short for a while, currently have it growing out. Not entirely thrilled though - it will go back to short by end of year. As to men with hair - I'm a real sucker for guys with that 70's thing going on. Dwayne Croft, the baritone at the Met, has got a serious mullet going on - swoonable. The only serious criteria: the woman's hair should be shorter than the man's. Comments? |

| wineaux | Posted 10/13/2007 11:36:51 AM | show profile I often see so many women who look absoloutely gorgeous with short hair. I volunteer at a farmer's market and there is a girl who sells tea that has beautiful short, curly, honey colored hair. She looks like a pixie. I usually have long hair. Wavy, light brown. But, in my early 20's I hacked it off very short and was shocked by how many men told me they loved it. Only once did I have a man tell me that I looked better in long hair. I may hack it off again, now that I think about it. Long hair on men is much like women with long hair. It really depends on the texture, curlyness, and how healthy it is. I LOVE dreds on most men I've seen donning them. |
| Astera | Posted 10/13/2007 3:22:20 PM | show profile I lost all my hair when I was going through chemo five years ago. I've kept it short since then, and my then-boyfriend (now husband) loves it. I didn't want to walk around totally bald, but I did stop wearing my wig when my hair was Sinead O'Connor, G.I. Jane short, and surprisingly, that's when I got the most compliments. However, I prefer it a little longer. It's about ear-length right now, but I might cut it shorter next time. ------ www.adventuresofastera.blogspot.com |
| writesonwater | Posted 10/13/2007 8:43:38 PM | show profile I just hacked mine off -- well, I had my stylist do it -- and it feels GOOD. |
| caitlinkelly | Posted 10/13/2007 11:12:58 PM | show profile Today at my NYC salon sat beside a visiting Parisienne in her 70s or maybe even 80s -- whose bleached-white hair was super-short. She looked fantastic. |
