The Connecticut Press Club just showed a preview of this documentary, which will be shown on The History Channel on November 17th. The Emmy-award winning directors are Joe and Sandra Consentino.

Initially, I didn't want to see the documentary, but I ended up going. It is absolutely phenomenal. In a totally non-political way, it tells the story of the war from the viewpoint of NBC News cameraman Craig White and an Iraqi taxi cab driver who has a compact camcorder. (Bob Woodruff said that Craig is on the wrong side of the camera because he is such as good reporter as well as lensman.) This documentary really makes you care about the people that the war has affected--both Americans and Iraqis. I cannot recommend this documentary highly enough. Double check the TV listings because this may have been changed once before.

This sounds really good. I wonder if it will show anywhere else -- we don't get the history channel (at least I don't think we do) but we could probably ask someone else to tape it.
