| writesonwater | Posted 10/14/2007 11:43:24 PM | show profile Have you checked at meetups.com? There's a batch of TExas ones listed there, and they're listed by state ... I'm guessing there are some NY ones. Also, there was someone looking for a writer to join a NY group on here (MB boards) a while back. |
| sd2la | Posted 10/15/2007 1:36:44 PM | show profile For classes, I highly recommend Sackett Street. http://www.sackettworkshop.com/ I've taken 2 classes with them and they both far exceeded my expectations. The classes allow your stories to be workshopped. |

There are currently two men and two women. We would like to keep an equal female to male ratio, but wouldn't turn away dedicated, serious, and talented writers of either gender with a body of work. We are seeking serious, committed, FOCUSED writers who can commit to at least one year.
