Poems Against War magazine is inviting one and all to its publication party Friday night, at the Load of Fun Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland for a night of music, poetry, and activism.

Poems Against War: A Journal of Poetry and Action has published its sixth issue on the theme of "Music & Heroes." It is available in a nice 48-page perfect bound edition online, through retailers, and through www.poemsagainstwar.com.

The reading will kick off at 8PM with opening remarks and readings from the poetry of Allen Ginsberg. Riot Folk folk artist Ryan Harvey, soild folk singer Jasaga, and Tom Swiss will join poets Alan Barysh, Brian Langston, Gregg Mosson, and others throughout the night from 9PM-11PM.

Donations at the door are suggested at $4, and will be split between Women in Black (a peace group), Poems Against War magazine, and the radical newspaper the Baltimore Indypendent Reader.

The Load of Fun is located at 120 W. North Avenue, Baltimore, MD. The event lasts from 8PM to 11PM.

The magazine can be found at www.poemsagainstwar.com.
