| cabaraba | Posted – 10/18/2007 10:57:49 AM | show profile I turned down a job offer to get my "foot-in-the-door" at a major magazine...due to my financial situation and having to move on a whim. I am young, just two years out of school. Will there be another chance? Obviously I'm doing something right if I have leads to NYC. Is it worth the struggle in the beginning to "get in" somewhere? Would that employer consider me again if I nutured that relationship and keep them up-to-date with my progress? Or have they moved on because they don't expect me to be serious about an opportunity? |

You never know down the road what will come up, so the more networking you do the better. Never assume anything. Always give it a shot! Good luck, Pam |
