| info48 | Posted 11/1/2007 2:44:15 PM | show profile A client of mine just got offered an interview as a taped segment to air on a morning show at a later date. As I'm a junior agent, I'm curious to know if one is better than the other in terms of reusing the piece for other things. Also, is there any recourse if the segment never airs? Does this ever happen? |

I'm assuming that if they're offering to tape and run later that a) it's not a time-sensitive story and b) they want it as fill-in in case a live candidate doesn't show for an interview that's been booked. Either one can work to the benefit of your client but it's still a crap-shoot as to when/if it will run. |

They're generally more upbeat and I know that whatever is discussed will ultimately end up on the show, vs. having a taped session spliced to bits. |
