Hi,
Has anyone worked for Niche Media (publisher of Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, etc.) or know what it's like there? All I could find in a Google search was lots of gossip, like http://gawker.com/news/gotham/gotham-fails-to-see-irony-in-forcing-its-employees-to-ride-great-american-scream-machine-194883.php

I'm curious if taking an edit position there would be good for the career. Thanks.

my friends sister in law works there and likes it very much. she's been there a few years and given the size of the company, she's been on a steady upward track, likely much quicker then would be at a larger co.

That's what I heard...very low pay and you work on like 10 magazines at the same time.
