| always_amelia | Posted – 11/9/2007 3:17:12 PM | show profile I have two different challenges, one I have a new supervisor/editor starting on Monday and I feel stressed-out by it. My current supervisor is probably one of the best supervisors I've ever had and we get along really well. I've had some nightmare bosses in the past and feel nervous about what this new boss might bring. My current supervisor is really easygoing and loved by all so I wonder if my new boss will be easygoing-I hope so. Plus there will be the inevitable training/getting up to speed timeframe which for some reason I dread, I guess I feel like every/one/thing will be uncertain during that period. Also I've only been at the company less than a year so I still feel a bit of a new kid on the block. Any advice on handling a new boss within the same company/same job? I've rarely encountered this before, I've usually gotten a new job and with it a new boss... |
