Topic: Appropriate Job Title for a Head Online Editor

Which of these is a title that is consistent with what the industry is doing? Online Managing Editor Online Editorial Director Director of Online Content something else? |

There is already a "Managing Editor" on the print side whom I would not want to offend, though I'm not sure if this would offend. |

Online Editorial Director sounds higher than the above, but if the Web Director is being upgraded, I guess take Editorial Director if you can get it. Take the highest-sounding title. But don't get too hung up with this--worry more about how much you're paid. |
