My friend and I were approached at the same time to do some work. We accepted the jobs and finished to their satisfaction with minimal revision. They didn't pay us for months, though, and the editor was really evasive. He even pretended to be somebody else once. We recognized his voice. I think they're going through something right now that's constricting their cash flow. They paid but it took a lot of emails and calls. The pay was pretty standard. |

My friend never got paid until months later after her assignment. The owner of the company and the company itself is in alot of financial trouble. Most of the full time staff is gone and only have 2 publications left.(Originally had over 8 publications in 2006). Not sure if they will be around much longer. |
