I know the old story that you would have more luck hugging the Queen than you would securing a visa to live and work in the U.S
( not that you would want to hug her, gawd bless her...)
Anyway, I'd be keen to know what the situation is for anyone who is applying, has been granted a visa, refused etc. I have spent a lot of time in the States and would particularly like to work in the North East in a creative role.
I am an Art Director and voiceover artist from the U.K, currently working in Austria for a large marketing/branding agency.
I would very much appriciate any feedback, if you do have a minute to drop me a line my email address ( prefered method of contact)
is jwren75@gmail.com

Oh, and whilst you are there- rate my accents and impressions please...

We're sorry - you don't qualify.

Please don't try again later.

It's exceptionally difficult, especially nowadays-- I know this from personal experience. That said, I do know people who've done it, including folks from your side of the pond.

You might want to look at two types of Visa and discuss with a lawyer. H1B (you need to line up work-- google for more info) or O1, if you qualify as having an extraordinary ability.
