Anyway, I'd be keen to know what the situation is for anyone who is applying, has been granted a visa, refused etc. I have spent a lot of time in the States and would particularly like to work in the North East in a creative role. I am an Art Director and voiceover artist from the U.K, currently working in Austria for a large marketing/branding agency. I would very much appriciate any feedback, if you do have a minute to drop me a line my email address ( prefered method of contact) is jwren75@gmail.com Oh, and whilst you are there- rate my accents and impressions please... http://www.talkandesign.com Cheers James |

| WritingSoul | Posted 11/22/2007 2:00:48 AM | show profile It's exceptionally difficult, especially nowadays-- I know this from personal experience. That said, I do know people who've done it, including folks from your side of the pond. You might want to look at two types of Visa and discuss with a lawyer. H1B (you need to line up work-- google for more info) or O1, if you qualify as having an extraordinary ability. |
