I don't know if you caught this last night - but sources confirm the great 'Wankenater' O'Reilly is about to concede ignorance on all topics and throw conisderable support behind Olbermann's deep intellect. It seems O'Reilly is getting past the hate for all things beautiful and disdain for those serving in uniform to admit he's a mental dawrf when compared to Keith O. Finally, the truth!

What an asinine thread topic to begin. Are we in eighth grade?

I'll settle
for Bill answering the USO's request to set the record straight. He pisses off the USO after going on a USO tour himself, can this guy not screw up anything?

Olby if you get any more quick witted as that last response we're going to have to start telling slug jokes.

Can't you at least
try to work in a Jeff Foxworthy joke or something. You know, 'Crimedog was late with his response to that post. You see, he walks his son to school everyday because they're in the same grade.'

Now that would have been actually funny.

Or how about this one:
Jerry Falwell was seated next to President Clinton on a recent flight. After the plane was airborne, the flight attendant came around for drink orders.
The President asked for a whisky & soda, which was brought and placed before him. The attendant then asked the minister if he would also like drink.
The minister replied in disgust, "Ma'am, I'd rather be savagely raped by a brazen whore than let liquor touch these lips!"
The President then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a choice..."

That one's funny to. Not sure what the original source is though. Here's another good one:

Now there is a new biography of President Bush out, have you heard this? Where it says the president cries a lot. The president said, 'I do tears.' So lets see, he's impulsive, he's stubborn, he's weepy. Sorry Hillary, apparently we already have our first female president." --Bill Maher

If you want to understand comedy, you have to watch comedy. If you want to tell good jokes, learn from the masters. For that crappy joke, I'm sentencing you to 4 hours each of George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Bill Maher, Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Bill Engvall, and Chris Rock. I'll give extra credit for Larry the Cable Guy and Carlos Mencia. Get a few good jokes together and come back.

is humor only humor when others find it humorous?

You do have a point.
But you do realize that I was being somewhat sarcastic don't you? I figured it was clear that I was merely trying to tell Olby that I found his joke weak in a mocking an indirect way, while pulgging some of my personal favorite comics. I quite honestly don't think Olby ever has or ever would watch Carlin, Pryor, Mencia, or Rock.

Olby watches that plastic surgery show for big laughs. I remember him saying back in June how funny liposuction is especially the time they drained three pounds of lard from his ass.

MSNBC Hedges on Tucker's Future
by Zachary Roth

Published: November 23, 2007

Rumors have been flying recently that Tucker Carlson could soon be on the way out at MSNBC. In a report that aired this morning on NPR, Phil Griffin, a senior vice president at the cable network, described Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as part of the MSNBC "brand". Asked whether Mr. Carlson was also part of that brand, Mr. Griffin replied: "He is right now."

Not exactly a vote of confidence.

Sean Hannity And FOX News Help T. Boone Pickens Renege On Swift Boat Challenge
Reported by Ellen - Sat 1:19 AMWhile I was on my near-perfect Florida vacation this week, Swift Boat backer T. Boone Pickens appeared on Hannity & Colmes to defend his reneging on an offer of $1 million to anyone who could disprove anything the so-called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth alleged about John Kerry. As it happened, Senator Kerry, himself, took up Pickens' challenge, and asked that the money be donated to Paralyzed Veterans of America. But suddenly, Pickens claimed there were conditions to his challenge (that, coincidentally, Kerry had not met) even though two conservatives in attendance reported otherwise. With video.
