Sigh... Did those days really exist? I agree that the MSM is totally part of a larger agenda, and that agenda is nothing short of dangerous. I hear folks in my office regurgitating the bad information that is promulgated on stupid cable shows. Bad information has a way of searing itself into a person's brain and never letting go. As a member of the media, on the print side, I take the dissemination of information seriously and less for the "wow" effect. My employers don't agree, so I'm stuck with their own agenda. I like my news to present the good, the bad, and the ugly so I can make up my own mind about it. Too bad most of the news reported has an ugly agenda attached to it. |

Pro wrestling has never really gotten a fair shake from the media, and with the Chris Benoit incident it has only gotten worse. Larry King's interview with some of the wrestlers wasn't too bad though. I know John Cena, who I believe was the guy interviewed that you're talking about, is a former professional body-builder which I hear has a rather nasty drug-testing policy. This is part of why Vince McMahon has always hated the media. |
