I'm a senior editor who has gotten by, thus far, without putting my editing clips in a portfolio--for previous interviews, I've put together a Xeroxed packet of clips for editors to read and keep.

Next week, though, I have an informational interview with HR at a big media company, and want to have a portfolio for the person to flip through; I've had enough jobs that whittling down to a packet of clips seems too tough. I'd love people's tips for organizing their black book. Specifically:

I've edited large FOB sections and features at each job. Should I place a copy of each full FOB section in the portfolio (some are 9 pp each!), or just a few sample pages of each?

Just one sample FOB section from each mag I've worked at? Or my best sample pages from each?

More than one example of columns I've worked on (Q+As, one-page FOB departments, etc.)? Or one of each?

Thanks in advance.
