| edible_tv | Posted 11/28/2007 8:17:03 AM | show profile New to freelancing for Website content. The position on the table needs a Copy Editor to work on an 'hourly' and 'on demand' basis. I am thinking it's maybe an hour or less per day X 5 days per week. Also thinking that the 'on demand' aspect would bring the fee higher than a normal Copy Editing rate. Or am i just dreaming. What do you think? |
| WritingEd | Posted 11/28/2007 2:45:08 PM | show profile While we don't word it this way, my company has a freelance copy editor with an on-demand sort of understanding. While we don't expect her to drop everything to work on something that minute, we do expect her to check her email every day for work from us and complete it by the following day. I believe it works out to about 5 hours per week of work; some days there may be nothing, other days a few items. We are definitely not paying extra for this part of the agreement. |
