Upcoming is proof of why I think ratings mean absolutely nothing. The worst performnce in the world: American Idol. Bleh. A fat guy, a drunk chick, and a British jabrackass telling crappy singers that they're crappy singers. I would much rather watch something more enterntaining, important, and relevant. Something like 80s WCW wrestling or reruns of Married...with Children. |

She said that talks are underway to put O'Reilly on the network stations as well as his cable show. If it works out, that would be fun to see how he does in a broader market. Chuck in Tacoma |

The real test happened two nights ago and Marie Osmond's rag doll dance trounced O'Reilly's drool mouth by 50,000,000 viewers. I don't think sponsors will take a chance on a loser like this. They did that years ago with Russ Limbaugh and it was devestating. This stuff works on a small cable news outfit like FOX but not on mainstream television. |

I really thought, just following the numbers, that Keith had just a niche. Personally have no use for either of them. They both obfiscate to appeal to their own viewers. Just BOR gets more who consistantly watch him. Still think that if O'Reilly does in fact go on broadcast tv, it will be interesting to see how he does. I can not imagine that the demographics of people who do not have cable will be that much different than those who do. You have to admit that it would be interesting to find the truth. |
