Hi
I am editing a suite of inflight magazines in Asia, some of which take the editorial from the inflight entertainment onboard. So if Michael Clayton is a new movie on board, we will do some editorial on George Clooney etc. I want to break away from profiles and start doing interviews, but have no idea who to contact in order to interview actors/musicians etc.

Are the publicists the people to deal with? Does anyone have any advice on a) who to contact and b) how to go about it? Total monthly readership of the magazines is more than 3 million. Will readership figures help gain access?
Appreciate any help

Yes, I would contact the Publicist if it's an interview you seek. I would also give them the circulation because it does make a difference.
