| newfrickinshow | Posted – 12/6/2007 4:25:24 PM | show profile My problems come from that. Most people trust Fox News when it comes to cable news, though it is a right-wing attack dog. Often wrong and cover a lot of crap stories, while avoiding things that make Bush look bad. Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and John Gibson are the worst of it. They lie and say vile things repeatedly, while acting like they should be above reproach. For instance when John Gibson was on his radio show saying America needs another 9/11. My reaction was somewhere along the line of WTF? If Rosie O'Donnel or Nancy Pelosi had said that, Bill O would've been riding that story hard all week. When I bring up crap they get wrong, the people on the board hide behind they're opinion guys so it's okay. |

Olbermann and his creepy obsession with O'Reilly are discussed because it's fun to get reactions out of his bitter fans. Sorry to break it to ya crimedog, but Olbermann is insignificant. Some people seemingly know and laugh that everytime they bring this to your attention, you'll be pulling out more of your hair. You're letting O'Reilly really get into your head buddy, it's unhealthy. Hurling homoerotic insults only makes you look worse. |

Fox News only dominates because they tell people what they want to hear, using the same strategies, lies, and half-truths that were made most popular through push polling. And it's really easy to tell people what they want to hear if little things like the truth don't enter into the conversation. The only thing real and honest to come out of Fox News was when Bill Clinton was interviewed and absolutely kicked Chris Wallace's ass. P.S. Al Franken for senate! |

Therefore, Keith does get the highest ratings in cable news at 8PM est. Olbermann is actually on network TV, co-hosting Football Night in America. The only reason anyone has a problem with him is because Keith constantly calls out their heroes on Fox News and within the Bush Administration on their bullshit. I wouldn't even care about O'Reilly if so much of his show wasn't crap and his talking points memo wasn't so full of hate. Limbaugh, Coulter, and the others in the conservative media are all about spreading hate, fear, and mistrust. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sign at the FNC headquarters that read 'Abandon all principles and facts at the door.' Rupert Murdoch is a money-grubbing republican hack, and he uses his media empire to serve those purposes. |

He's the former SNL star and writer, best-selling author, host of a radio show that was also aired on the Sundance Channel, and who only left his radio show in order to concentrate on his senate campaign. |

Bill O'Reilly lived in a part of Levittown that was later annexed by Westbury. So that part about the Levittown section of Westbury was actually true. Considering that Levittown isn't actually incorporated and Al isn't a native New Yorker, it could be an easy mistake to make. I'd say it was somewhat ambigous. I'll have to look into it and see if some sort of clarification was eventually made. I also noticed that the community Bill grew up in refused to rent or sell to non-whites. That may explain a lot. |

It is not under the FCC rules to provide accuracy or validation, of news, as the print media and free airwaves are. Assuming it is news, is not reality. Fox is not news. It never has been. They have the court order to prove it. |
