Can someone please guide me in developing a publicity proposal. I emailed someone a general and abstract outline, but the person thought it wasn't detailed enough. In the past I have been burned by submitting proposals and not hearing from the person again. Yes, I know it could be taken it as the outline really sucked, or my ideas were taken and I didn't get credit for it. How do you get over this hurdle. A sample would be great. Thanks |

Some people are amazed at that, but I'm amazed they are. They could theoretically just take those plans and run with them, leaving you with no revenue. If they're willing to pay you to put something together, go back to them with more detail. If not, I'd hold my ground because the cards they're showing now tell me they'd probably be a PITA client anyway. ------ Cyrus Afzali Astoria Communications www.astoriacomm.com |

I think what I will do is address this issue with the book author since she was the one I initially had the conversation with and requested a general proposal to explain my viewpoint and hopefully she will understand and we can move forward from there. Thanks for your words of wisdom. |
