Topic: How to create an appealing entry-level resume?

| puddypop | Posted – 12/6/2007 1:44:33 AM | show profile I am a jack-of-all-trades, and am interested in trying out freelance (and /or full-time) editing--but, I do not have "professional" publishing or editorial experience. I have an M.A. in Communications Management and have always been in charge of writing and editing correspondence, marketing materials, newsletters, and whatnot at my previous jobs due to my skill and interest. Can anyone give me guidelines as to how I put together an appealing resume, given that I have only bits and pieces of experience? I know that I have the capacity to be an exceptional editor, but feel that my editorial experience won't even fill a page! |
