I'm interested in getting some numbers on the lengths of nonfiction books. Anyone in publishing or an author or just someone who read something somewhere once?

The typical length for most books is about 80,000-100,000 words.

Thanks, Dribble. Is there anywhere on the net where it lists the number of words in books? It seems like one project I'm working on is going to come in somewhere around 65,000 - 75,000, and I'd like to see what else is around that length.

Here's another link for word count. Enter the book title, search for it, click on the name and it'll take you to a screen with word count, interest level, etc.
