after ten+ years of running (single-handedly) a small visual arts museum, i am ready to move into an area that does not involve fund-raising. serious burnout.

i have built an excellent 'curatorial' reputation, along with great connections within the fine-art photography world. i'm also considered to have an very keen, sophisticated eye for design, so i think i would be a great photo director for a company that shares this sense of 'emerging' style, but know these jobs are not easy to 'switch' into...

any thoughts, suggestions on how i might enter the market? i have LOADS of creative/business experience that i think transfers well, what key skills should i stress in a cover letter/CV?

Stress ...
your obvious wealth of visual expertise.

But especially stress your MANAGEMENT experience. You have experience with project management, fundraising, client/donor relations, and budgeting. Showcase it!

Good luck.
