I absolutely love this magazine and I'm so disappointed that it's closing. Why, Martha? Why!? I will admit that the decorating ideas are a bit pricey on my tiny budget, but there were so many great DIY ideas. The website totally rocked too. I'm a craft-a-holic! Where am I going to get my fix now?

I think I'll sit in the corner an cry a bit.

I am glad to see somehow loved the magazine as much as I did. I just returned from a long trip out of town and couldn't wait to read the latest edition, then comes the news that the magazine is going under. I will miss Blueprint. I loved the content and the look and couldn't wait for each issue to arrive.

i liked it too, a lot. and i was in the process of organizing some ideas to pitch them. they say they "misjudged the market," but i don't know--maybe this closing was a misjudging of the market! if they'd gotten the prices down a little on some of the home stories, kept on with the diy and essays, and branched out into a few new article types.....i feel like there really is a market for what this magazine was doing. i'm a little older than their target demo (women in their 20s mostly, i guess?), but really, who couldn't use a blueprint for life?

I LOVE this magazine. It was a pictorial gem, I thought, just aesthetically pleasing even though I couldn't afford much in there. The last issue is to be Jan/Feb '08.
