| TV Colleague | Posted 12/19/2007 6:31:50 PM | show profile TV Newser - you've stooped to a new low quoting the National Enquirer as a source for a news story. What ever happened to basic journalism 101? |
| Olbypocrisy | Posted 12/19/2007 9:03:33 PM | show profile TVNewser uses MSNBC and liberal hate sites for sources all the time. The Enquirer is a step up !!! |
| TV Colleague | Posted 12/19/2007 10:16:37 PM | show profile CBS' Primary Question Tonight Sure To Make A Few Squirm Frank - and that justifies use???? Just Askin' |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 12/19/2007 10:34:47 PM | show profile Frank reads the good shit. This is where he forms those astute opinions. |
| ManhattanMatt | Posted 12/19/2007 10:40:07 PM | show profile Voice from the mainstream media ... You're not hearing it from us because until we have more solid sources, we're not about to open ourselves up to a MAJOR lawsuit. |
| Iron Eagle | Posted 12/20/2007 12:14:22 AM | show profile You heard the Clinton lies about the child and Vince Foster from Fox News - Drudge - Wingnuts Hate - every copy of yellow journalism financed by Richard Scaife. You guys haven't the slighest inclination to find reliable publications it's always hate wipe. |
| stvj57 | Posted 12/20/2007 12:57:05 AM | show profile what did i miss. what are you guys talking about? sorry i really just don't know. |
| stvj57 | Posted 12/20/2007 2:02:02 PM | show profile don't everyone respond all at once here. |
| rockyroad | Posted 12/20/2007 4:11:03 PM | show profile I don't care of Edwards but this story is just wrong. If true, it's between him and his wife. This has nothing to do with how he would govern. It's time to take the personal crap out of politics. Let Edwards be. |
| TV Colleague | Posted 12/20/2007 4:42:46 PM | show profile CBS' Primary Question Tonight Sure To Make A Few Squirm Agreed Rocky Road, which was why I was stunned that TV Newser would refer to this story from the National Enquirer. When I saw the source as the National Enquirer, well, I was even more stunned this site would even consider using it as a source. Is there no serious fact checking - at all, even a call to the candidate's office in Chapel Hill before such a post is linked? This is a serious allegation. While blogging may live in its own world, it does have a responsibility not to damage reputations without serious discourse with the party or use true sources of solid journalistic reputation. This site just posted it and I was extremely surprised at their journalism standards would include a publication such as the Enquirer. |
| stvj57 | Posted 12/20/2007 6:21:13 PM | show profile if you folks that are saying this story has no place in the election news, then what about rudy and his personal stuff? if mitt was found to have a love child you would be all over it is my guess. what is good for the goose is good for the gooser. lol. |
