I thought between between 30 and 60 days was standard. Now, pubs are trying to stretch it to 90 or even 100 days. Is this normal or am I just a chump? |
| JimmyG | Posted 12/20/2007 2:22:37 PM | show profile "Paid on acceptance" can mean anything from the moment an editor looks it over and decides it's okay to literally the day the magazine is shipped. So if the contract says "pays within 60 days of acceptance" and you submit it 60 days before the mag goes to the printer you could still wait up to four months for a check to arrive. |
