I've been approached to write copy for a home staging company's website. After receiving some background material from one of the company's employees and writing a sample page, I met with owner and she informed me that the material sent me was out of date and did not have the "look and feel" she was going for. She told me (verbally) what her target market was (high-end, affluent) and her approach (classical, Italian look) and asked me to write another sample page. Can someone give me some guidelines as to what I should ask for from the client who wants me to produce web copy? How much information should they supply? ------ sw |
